Connecting Lightspeed eCom gives your AI agents access to orders, products, and customer data so they can answer store questions accurately.

What you’ll need

  • Base URL — your store URL, for example https://store1.com/.
  • API key and API secret — created in your Lightspeed back office.
  • Country code — for example nl, be, or de.

Create your Lightspeed API key

Open Developers

In your Lightspeed eCom back office, go to Settings > Store Settings > Developers and click New API key.

Name and enable it

Enter a name (for example, Minimal AI) and Save. Then enable the key and select the permissions the agent needs (orders, products, customers), and Save again.

Copy the key and secret

Under Details, copy the API key, then click Show to reveal and copy the API secret.

Connect in Minimal AI

Go to Dashboard > Integrations, click Add an integration > Lightspeed, and fill in your base URL, API key, API secret, and country code.
The API secret is shown only once when you create the key. Store it securely and only paste it into Minimal AI.
