Connecting Kustomer lets your AI agents read and reply to conversations in your Kustomer workspace.

What you’ll need

  • API key — an API key created in your Kustomer security settings.
  • API base URL (optional) — leave the default unless Kustomer told you to use a specific region URL.

Create your Kustomer API key

You need to be a Kustomer admin (or have Security permissions) to create API keys.

Open API keys

In Kustomer, go to Settings > Security > API Keys and click Add API Key.

Name it and assign roles

Give the key a clear name (for example, Minimal AI) and assign the roles it needs to read and update conversations and customers.

Copy the key

Click Create and copy the token immediately — Kustomer only shows it once.

Connect in Minimal AI

Go to Dashboard > Integrations, click Add an integration > Kustomer, and paste your API key. Leave the API base URL on its default value unless you have a region-specific URL.
API keys are shown only once and carry the roles you assigned. Keep the key secret and only paste it into Minimal AI.
